Visitation Monday from 9 AM to 8 PM at the funeral home.

The family will be at his residence, 101 Brookshire Drive in LaGrange, Georgia.

Dadric Lazzar Beasley was born on January 15, 1971, in Atlanta, Georgia, to Ms. Patricia A. Beasley-Grier and the late Calvin Glanton. A few years later, this young family, with his mother and little brother, Joel, would return to Hogansville, where he was raised alongside his maternal grandmother, other extended family, and with new siblings.

Dadric completed his education at Hogansville High School in 1990. Dadric met Shamika Peterson, and they shared amazing love, acceptance and understanding for each other for 21 years. Along with Shamika, his compassion and commitment to his children were central themes in his life. He will also be remembered as someone who was very independent, and deeply cared about and was protective of his family. Moreover, Dadric was comedic, engaging and loyal to his friends and often found himself the life of the party. He was the type of person who never met a stranger and always wore a smile, loved to joke and loved his family.

Over the years, he worked in an array of industries, such as manufacturing, sanitation and automotive. Notably, he was recently employed with Sejong, LLC, of LaGrange as a welder for almost four years before he began to experience health challenges.

On Wednesday, August 8, 2018, God saw fit to call him home.

He was preceded in death by his father, the late Calvin Glanton, Sr., and one brother, Bartholomew Grier.

He is survived by his life partner and devoted wife, Shamika Peterson; three children, Diedre Wilkey, Delilah Wilkey and Dadric Beasley, Jr.; children he raised as his own, Arsimone and Mikel Peterson; three grandchildren, Camello, Jaquau and Jakyla, all of LaGrange, GA; his mother, Patricia Ann Beasley-Grier, of LaGrange, GA; his stepfather, Joseph Grier of Atlanta, GA; eleven brothers, Joel D. (Juanita) Grier, Sr., Travis Grier, Fred L. Lowe, Sr., Cedric (Catrena) Lowe of LaGrange, GA, Calvin Glanton, Jr., Corey Coleman and Christopher Coleman of Newnan, GA, Demario, Jamal and Jeremy, Dr. Tony (Bevely) Lowe of Atlanta, GA, and Rodney Beasley of Fayette County, GA; five sisters, Christine Grier and Jacquline Grier of LaGrange, GA, Alberta Robinson of Columbus, GA, and Gabrelle and Janesa of Atlanta, GA, Debbie Lowe and Angela Lowe-Davis of Hogansville, GA; two aunts, Mrs. Lizzie Mae (Tom) Lakes-Hancock of Decatur, GA and Mrs. Diane Beasley-Parham of Covington, GA; one uncle, Mr. George Johnson of Newnan, GA; sister-in-law, Debra (Eric) Kenyear of North Carolina; brothers-in-law, Randy (Maxine) Hall, Dexter Hall, Demond and Derrick Peterson, all of LaGrange, GA; special cousins, Donte Lowe, Mario Blalock, Rayshod Cameron, all of Hogansville, GA; special friends, Vincent Cameron, Nathan Banks, Don Strickland, Richard Lucas, Tyrus Rosser, and Nick Burston; special aunt who helped raise him to be the special son, father, grandfather, uncle and friend that he was, Vera Lowe Lakes; and a host of nieces and nephews.

His smile, his joy, and love of family and friends will always be his legacy.
