Obituary For David Lamont Lowery, Jr.

Mr. David Lamont Lowery, Jr., affectionally known as “Doodles,” was born to the proud parents, David Lowery, Sr., and Christina Davis on February 15, 2004, in Indianapolis, Indiana. He attended Wayne Township Schools for his elementary education and was currently a sophomore at Warren Central High School. Brother David actively participated in community programs, such as the Martin Luther King Community Center, Boyz II Kingz Mentoring Program, Center of Leadership Program, and was currently working at Bell’s Construction Company. Brother David Lowery accepted Jesus Christ as his personal Savior at the early age of nine years old when he was baptized, September 29, 2013, at Shiloh Missionary Baptist Church. David faithfully served his church; he was a member of the Youth ministry and sung in the Youth Choir. David Lamont Lowery, Jr., touched the hearts of many. He was a caring young man, who wanted to always make sure everyone was taken care of. He brought a smile to everyone he knew, especially being the jokester he loved being. He loved listening to music, playing sports, which included football, basketball, boxing, and track. Family was important to David and he LOVED spending time with family and friends. David walked into the loving arms of his Lord and Savior on June 7, 2020, at the age of sixteen years old. Brother David leaves to cherish his memory: his loving and devoted parents, David Lowery, Sr., and Christina Davis; one sister, Angel Lowery; grandmother, Shirley Hall; grandfathers, Charles Davis and Bobby Lowery; great-grandmothers, Ruby Williams and Wilma Leddell; and a host of loving uncles, aunts, cousins, godparents, relatives, friends, and his family of Shiloh Missionary Baptist Church. He is preceded in death by his brother, Tyrell Resnover; and his grandmother, Therese Davis.
