Obituary For Lorenza Lovorn (Shorty) Benefield
Mr. Lorenza Lovorn (Shorty) Benefield 86 of Milltown, Alabama died Friday March 6, 2020 at his residence after an extended illness with his family by his side.
Shorty was born in Randolph County, Alabama March 9, 1933 to the late Thomas Benefield and the late Beulah DeLoach Benefield, he served in the US Navy during the Korean War, and retired from West Point Pepperell after 49 years of service.
Funeral services are pending.
He is survived by his Wife of 60 Years Josephine Looser Benefield of Milltown, Al. Daughter-Jennifer (Michael) Bryant of Wadley, Al., 2 Sons-John Benefield of Millton, Al., Jason Benefield of Penton, Al., 2 Grandchildren- Matthew & Jade French of Michigan, 3 Great Grandchildren-Landon, Logan & Jocelyn.
He was preceded in death by his Parents, Grandson Justin Benefield
