Obituary For John J. Cotter, Jr.
Graveside services for Mr. John J. Cotter, Jr., (Johnny) age 80 of Valley, Alabama is 11:00am CST, Wednesday, November 16, 2022, in Lafayette City Cemetery with reverend Jimmy Allen and Gregory Cotter officiating.
Visitation will be 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm CST at Jeff Jones Funeral Home in Lafayette, Alabama.
He is a native of Chambers County where he has lived most of his life. He retired from West Point Pepperell with over 40 years of service as a truck driver.
He was an avid Harley enthusiast and loved his motorcycle family dearly.
Mr. Cotter is survived by his wife Sherry Adcox Cotter; children: John K. Cotter, Kris (Bryan) Lamb, Jenna (Justin) Jarrell; stepchildren: Lesleigh (Joe) Hallford, Drew (Meagan) Lazenby, Justin (Kayla) Lazenby; siblings: Martha Messer, Charles (Berdine) Cotter, Don (Sherree) Cotter; 13 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren.
