Carter Funeral Home announces the transition of Mr. Jose Fidencio Alaniz, of Union Springs, Alabama.
Ecclesiastes 12:7 – “And the dust returns to the earth as it was, and the spirit returns to God who gave it.”
Jose Fidencio “Yoyo” Alaniz was born August 24, 1962, to Jose Hector and Esperanza S. Alaniz. He was granted his angel wings on October 7, 2021, at the age of 59 at the Bullock County Hospital. Joe touched many lives in small and big ways.
A memorial mass will be held at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, 101 E. Canales Bros. Street, Rio Grande City, Texas at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, October 21, 2021. A memorial service will follow at Rio Grande City Cemetery.
He is preceded in death by his loving parents, Jose Hector and Esperanza S. Alaniz, and his wife, Dora Alaniz.
Jose is survived by his son, Luis E. Alaniz, siblings, Norma Morin, Angelica/Reynol Martinez, Jr., Hector (Sandra) Alaniz, and Bertha Alaniz; nieces, Yoanna, Juanita, and Jesica Morin; nephews, Pedro III, and Jaime Morin, Jr., Juan Andres Jr., and Abraham Cortez; grandniece, Kassidy; first cousins, Aunt Delia Alaniz, and other relatives.
