Lyn Ryner Kelly, 63, passed away Monday, February 10, 2020 at her residence in West Point, Georgia.
The family will greet friends for Visitation on Friday February 14, 2020 from 5:30-7:30 pm EST at Bluffton Funeral Services in Lanett, Alabama.
A memorial service will be held at West Point United Methodist Church in West Point, Georgia on Saturday February 15, 2020 at 2:00 pm EST.
Reverend Erik Mays will officiate.
Lyn was born on January 28, 1957 to the late J.B. Ryner and Carolyn Becker Ryner in Vienna, Georgia. Lyn was a graduate of Valdosta State University and the Medical College of Georgia with a degree in Physical Therapy. Lyn was a member Kappa Delta Sorority at Valdosta State. She worked at Hughston Clinic in Columbus Georgia and Health South Tanner Medical Center in Carrollton, Georgia.
Lyn loved and was loved by her husband and family and especially by her favorite companion, her dog Lexi. She enjoyed photography, art, music, and camping. She was also an avid bird watcher. We will always cherish our memories of her and remember her strength and ability to overcome.
Lyn was preceded in death by her parents; her maternal grandparents Mr. and Mrs. Norman E Becker; her paternal grandparents Ruth Lewis Ryner Hemperley and James Ryner; and her stepson David Neil Kelly, Jr.
She is survived by her Husband David Kelly; stepdaughter Jenny Kelly (Parker) Swift and step granddaughter Mary Harp McMillen; sister Kelly Burton; brother JB(Susie) Ryner Nieces and nephews Derrick (Courtney) Ryner, Haley Ryner, Laurie Lyn Burton, and Mitchell Burton.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Chattahoochee Valley Hospice.
