I didn't know Carol, but appreciate her hard work indexing and photographing the history of Elgin County. Just two weeks ago, as a result of her attention to detail, I was able to find details about an ancestor's death that I had almost given up hope of ever finding. Thank you Carol, God Bless - Sandra Sales

The county & beyond has lost a wealth of knowledge in the world of Genealogy. She was my go to gal if I really got stuck and would get me back on track. I know she helped many others. She has her name on the web pages of many cemeteries. She transcribed the marriage, births, deaths from the old news papers. She truly believed in family past and present. Rest In Peace Carol.
